We're adding a storage shed behind our church building. Please consider being part of the “sorting/organizing committee” that will move existing church items, decorations and other brick-a-brack to the new unit. There’s a clip board sign-up. See Lora or Suzanne to sign-up.
NHCF has three Shepherding Groups that meet on Wednesday evenings: one in our church with Pastor Tom and Terry Lowry, one at Roger Brown's house, and one at Chris Lewis' house. We pray and study God's Word, but just as important, we have fellowship together where we build relationships and learn to "bear one another's burdens."
The committee continues to address the growing needs of our church. Work continues in prepping lower level parking lot. There are now stairs connecting the two lots
(Thanks to Matt Greenwood and Jim Van Hill).
The bank behind our new church has been widened for the new shed, and the dirt moved to enlarge the north pad.

Be an Overcomer
What have you got that needs “ No, seriously. How’s it going? I suppose that most would say “Oh, so so.” Two steps forward and one step back, so to speak. Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. The key to overcoming is you. What do you want ? Have you prayed it through, asking the Lord to take it?
I remember one of our members years back, who has since moved away, coming to me in a weeping state. He’d been smoking marijuana for some time, and hem wanted to quit but he couldn’t. He kept saying, “it’s just so hard.” Well, yes it is when you ’re the one doing it.
Life gets on top of us, and we look for an escape . Even as believers, we get side tracked into believing that we can do it…alone. Not so Paul tells us that he’s “learned the secret of being filled and going hungry , both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4.12,13). Can it be that simple? Yes ! The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, resides in you. Be filled with the S pirit” is not some religious fantasy (Phil. 3.10,11; Ephes. 5.18). The Holy Spirit is real, and He is our helper. Be led by the Spirit through prayer and pronouncing the Word on those things you want to overcome.
Remember, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matt. 19.26). Partner up with the Lord
