New parking lot is almost complete. Please, park respectfully using the railroad ties, etc. Thank you all for joining together in "Growth" meeting last week, there were about 35 in attendance. All agreed to move forward. The application has been submitted to the county and the fire department along with the engineered blueprint drawings. Now as we wait for their response and approval progress on the new shed is moving forward, thanks to Rick Kobema, Chris Popke, Rob Hoelting, Tom G. and a few others. Take a look when you get the chance. The chapel remodel is coming very soon to expand and add space and more seating.

Tent Revival

Today is the last day for the Truth Rally on the 260 just past the ‘Y’ next to the JESUS sign. It’s been a great experience and our New Hope “worship teams” had a big part in it. If you have not been out there yet, please give it some thought and give Pastor Byron of the ‘Y’ church a visit at the rally.

Words

If we say what God says, He will do what we say:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. (John: 1:1-2)...JESUS!

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His Name." (John 1:12)

God instructed Joshua to speak and meditate on His word. Think on JESUS!

Words are powerful. We can use words to build up or tear down a person. Proverbs, the book of wisdom has many things to say about speaking. "Death and Life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." (Proverbs 18:21)

JESUS said that the words He spoke were spirit and they are life. (Matthew 6:63) He also said we will be justified by our words or condemned. (Matthew 12:37)

In the book of Hebrews we are told to consider or think on JESUS, the High Priest of our profession, the words we speak.

(Hebrews 3:1)

Jesus tells us in to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who spitefully use us. (Matthew 5:44) and again Paul tells us in Ephesians to be imitators of God as dear children. He is kind to everyone.

Oh, Children of God, what are we saying?
