Biblical wisdom not only means to prepare for the Lord's return, but it also means to store up supplies to occupy until He comes. Please consider storing up some basics, like water, paper goods, canned goods, some dry goods, fuel and medications.
The times we're in demand it.
Last Sunday evening the White Mountain Community gathered at the Show Low School Auditorium to celebrate a very successful Fast. Todate we have taken in over $63K, and donations are still coming in. We rejoiced in musical numbers by the schools and local churches. These were highlighted by video testimonies from school personnel, helping agencies, service groups and special ministries. Thanks for your participation and making this the most profound fund raiser of the year.

Advent comes from the Latin adventus, meaning "coming." It has been celebrated since the 5th Christian century as believers remember Christ's coming at His Nativity, and His coming in the hearts of believers, and His second coming at the close of the age.
The Advent wreath with it's five candles helps us mark off the time as we approach Christmas. Each Christian denomination will have variations in colors of candles used. Generally, there will be three candles of the same color, and one pink candle, and these are set around the Jesus candle in the middle of the wreath. One additional candle is lit each Sunday until the Jesus candle is lit.
The evergreen wreath reminds us of God's eternal life given through Christ, and the unbroken circle of the wreath confirms God's promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Heb.13.5).
Traditionally, the Advent season has provided a time for believers to prepare for Jesus' birth. This preparation includes personal confession, repentance and prayer and fasting, although contemporary Christians have lost touch with the greater historical meaning of this time. Now a days, we're too much into the colors, sounds, foods and excitement of Christmas to be moved by the greater fact that God came personally to take away our sin.
To God be the glory; great things He has done.
