Help Needed

We need workers to help finish the new church shed. We need drywall finishers, electrical assistance in connecting power, and roofers to lay in the metal roof. Please check with Rick Koberna if you can help.

Church Budget Planning

It's that time of year again when our Church Board plans a budget for the next year. Your input is welcome. Line items in our budget are increasing with a growing congregation and that means increasing the projected bottom line. Be praying for Board wisdom as we consider church outlays for 2023.

A Big Thanks

We want to thank our generous congregation for the many gifts and remembrances given to us for "Pastors' Appreciation Month." It touches our hearts with gratitude for your prayers and kind support. Pastor Tom and Pastor Jim.

REMEMBER THE COMMUNITY FAST OF COMPASSION THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 13TH.

Voting

Please vote on Tuesday, November 8th. It's our sacred duty as Americans to exercise our right as citizens of this republic. It's also a spiritual duty in so far as we honor God in the voting choices that we make.

As believers we are fully aware of the mandates of our Savior to love one another and to be salt and light in the world (John 13.34; Matt.5.16).Your vote can and must reflect that mandate. Whether it's a candidate or a proposition, we are called to make moral judgements based upon the teaching of Jesus and Scripture that bless God.

Furthermore, we know that there's no man or woman who'll save us. They may campaign to that effect, but finally, only Jesus saves (John 3.16; Acts 4.12). So, because we know the Lord, and because we love Him, and we abide in His Word, we make choices that reflect what He wants.

Such thinking realigns our whole perspective on things political. It means that we take seriously our citizenship in a nation founded on Christian principles, and we honor our constitutional republic. When we see these precious principles being transgressed and disrespected, we remember that Jesus, who is God's truth, was crucified by our lawless ancestors.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Rom.3.23).

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)..." (Ephes.2.4-5).

Yes, vote Tuesday, and take Jesus with you.
